Prince of Egypt: When You Believe | Whitney & Mariah React to FEUD Rumors (Flashback)

Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey chatted with ET about performing 'When You Believe' for the 'Prince of Egypt' soundtrack. To many in the music industry at the time, corraling the oft-labeled divas for a duet and music video was its own kind of miracle. That said, both iconic singers explained why they loved collaborating on the Stephen Schwartz-penned track. As for Michelle Pfeiffer, who sang the Oscar-winning song within the movie, the vocal range was outside 'her comfort zone,' but she confirmed to ET in 1998 that it was nevertheless 'wonderful to sing those lyrics' for Dreamworks' animated biblical epic.
